Dear Parents,

Greetings! We are excited and very thankful that you are reading this letter!  It means that you are interested in our school!  Therefore, I want to provide you with helpful information.

We are housed in the North Garland Baptist Fellowship church in Garland, Texas next to the Firewheel homes and businesses. Our address is:

Mission

The school's mission is to educate and nurture children to become Christ-centered, independent life-long learners. We also want to provide remedial education to help a child overcome any "learning gaps".

 

Teachers

Our teachers all hold Bachelor degrees or higher. Most are certified to teach their age group or are working towards certification. Each year the teachers receive training to enhance the Christian educational experience for our children.

 

Meetings

There is a parent/teacher meeting each year prior to school starting.  This is for new and returning parents. We try to use this meeting to inform you of what to expect during the year. Check the calendar for the exact date and time.   We look forward to seeing all our parents.  Please RSVP to 972.496.6777 if you cannot make it. 

 

 

Registration

School registration begins March 1st. Please secure a position for your child now.

 

 

Enrollment Application

Save and complete the enrollment application on your computer. Print it off. Don't print and try to fill it out. The fields are setup to be completed while you are logged on to your computer.

 

Birth Certificates

New parents, I need a copy of your child’s birth certificate.  The State of Texas requires a copy be included in school files. Please bring it to the Parent/Teacher meeting the week before school starts or no later than the first day of school.

Health Records

Everyone, I need a current copy of your child’s health record.  The state accepts a copy from a pediatrician.  Please bring to the August parent meeting or on the first day of school.  Your child cannot attend classes until they are current on their shots.   

 

Calendar

We will have final calendars available online the first day of school.   

 

Syllabus

All parents will receive a syllabus on topics to be taught this school year. 

 

Fees

Monthly tuition payment plans are setup over 10 months.  Per the student application, the first month of all monthly payment plans is August 1^st and the last monthly payment is May 1^st.  Monthly payments not received on the 1st are delinquent.  A service charge is added to the past due amount.   Payment should be made to Quanah’s Academy and sent to the school address. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

 

Lunch

Each child brings a sack lunch. We offer a hot lunch if a majority of parents want a hot lunch program.

 

Extended day

We offer an extended day program from 7:30 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. The children use this time to learn to type on the computers, learn Spanish, and complete their homework. A snack is included in the extended day program.

 

Books

Please order your child's books ASAP.  We cannot do deferred billing.  Look at the book fees link and then mail the check to the school. Students need books the first week of school. 

 

Toys

Your child may bring a toy for show and tell on FRIDAY ONLY but please let them know it must be put away when ask to do so by a teacher.  A child’s personal toys may be broken or sought after by everyone, so we discourage bringing expensive toys.
